Mechanical Upgrade

Brenair Mechanical Services have been engaged directly by the client to replace two existing rooftop DX Split units at the Altona Gate Shopping Centre. These units were replaced with large capacity Lennox rooftop packaged units. The works carried out for this project comprised of supply, installation, commissioning and 12 months warranty.

This project involved the supply and installation of 2 Lennox Flexair rooftop packaged AC units. Their model numbers were FAH230 & FAH200. These units had improved efficiency with intelligent fresh air management & economizer. Replacing the existing units with these new units has saved the client money in their utility bills, as the units supply large areas of the site. One services multi-tenancies while the other services the food court. Brenair also carrier out electrical works which included the supply and installation of 1 new MSSB complete with new cabling for the new PAC units. As part of upgrade we needed to install a new internally lined ductwork which connected the existing risers of supply and return air ducts. Once all the mechanical and electrical works were completed Brenair upgraded the existing BMS and incorporated the control requirements for the efficient and safe operation of the new plant.
